Highlead's latest lockstitch machine
with automatic under-bed thread trimmer: features the new direct drive
motor system. A compact and powerful servo motor is fitted directly inside
the sewing machine head. It
offers improved features like quick start and stop, accurate positioning,
low noise, little vibration, and a general improved sewing experience.
The oiling system has been
completely redesigned and now runs from a mini self contained and sealed
lubrication box which greatly reduces contamination and oil staining of
garments etc.
The machine is equipped with a automatic thread trimmer
which is mounted under the needle plate for quick & accurate cutting of
thread at the end of a sewing cycle. This saves considerable time when
compared with manual cutting of threads using scissors etc.
The position of the needle is controlled
electronically and this will
automatically put the needle in an UP or DOWN position at the end of a
sewing cycle: reducing the need to use the manual hand wheel.
Like Highlead's other automatic
lockstitch machines, this latest GC1988-MDZ model is a feature packed machine and as well as
automatic thread trimming and the new direct drive motor, it comes as standard with programmable auto
back-tack, auto reverse, auto thread wiper, knuckle quick reverse and
built in stitch program module.
Automatic foot lifting is also available
as an option.
